We're turning Japanese

Japan in February is beautiful... The snow-tipped mountains of Nagano are our idea of  heaven.  We had a ski slope all to ourselves.  Here in the sweltering heat, just looking at the winter pictures make us smile.  When can we visit again?

The Culinary Workshop rocks!

We loooove the Culinary Workshop! Chefs Kerry and Sabie are so nice. We made cupcakes, moist chocolate cake, gingerbread cookies, fruit tarts, cream puffs, pan de sal, pizza and ensaymada. Delicious! Come by and taste our creations!

Sofia & Olivia: Fish Catchers!

                                       The whole family went to Nueva Vizcaya to accompany             Patricia in her lecture.  

                                       We slept in a funny hotel, the Highlander Hotel.  

                                       Each room was decorated in one single color!

    

The hotel Lobby was crammed with colorful paintings! 

                                            

We went fishing in a nearby resort and Sofia caught her first fish, a tilapia.  Look at her smile!

Olivia caught so many fish.  We then grilled and ate them.  Yummy!

OLIVIA WINS BRONZE MEDAL IN GYMNASTICS

Olivia Kho won the Bronze Medal in the Club Gymnastica Friendship Meet held last August 30, 2009.  She displayed excellent form and delivered a consistent performance in the Balance Beam, Floor Exercises, and the Uneven Bars.  We're very proud of you Olivia!  Keep up the good work!
